How to Add a PayPal Link to a Selling Lane Invoice

To accept payments via PayPal in Selling Lane (or anywhere), use your PayPal.Me link — just like Venmo. Here’s how:

1. Check if You Have a PayPal.Me Link

  • Go to paypal.me.
  • Log in with your PayPal account.
  • If you’ve already created one, it will show up as https://www.paypal.me/YourUsername.

2. If You Don’t Have One Yet

  • On paypal.me, click Create Your PayPal.Me Link.
  • Choose a custom username (e.g. SellingLaneAuctions).
  • You can upload a profile picture — helps customers feel secure.
  • Once created, your permanent link is https://www.paypal.me/YourUsername.

3. Add a Fixed Payment Amount (Optional)

You can pre-fill the amount:

https://www.paypal.me/YourUsername/20

That opens a page to send $20 directly. Customers can still adjust the amount unless you lock it on your website.

4. Share the Link on Selling Lane Invoices

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Then Edit Account.
  3. Navigate to the field Link to Pay.
  4. Insert the link from PayPal (example: https://www.paypal.me/YourUsername).
