Payment Processing

Flexible payment options for every auction

Selling Lane's payment system is designed around the way auction operators actually work. You choose which payment methods to accept, and we handle the complexity.

Supported Payment Methods

  • Credit and debit cards — Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover
  • EFT / ACH transfers — for larger transactions where you want to avoid card fees
  • Venmo — fast, casual payments for smaller items
  • PayPal — for buyers who prefer it
  • Invoice-based payment — send an invoice with a pay-now link via email

How to Find Your Venmo Link

To add a Venmo pay-link to an invoice, go to your Venmo app, tap your profile icon, and select "Share my profile." Copy the URL — that's your Venmo link. Paste it into your Selling Lane payment settings.

How to Find Your QuickBooks "Pay Now" Link

In QuickBooks Online, create an invoice with a customer attached. Before sending, enable "Allow online payment." The pay-now link is automatically generated and included in the invoice email — or you can copy it from the invoice preview.

Buyer Experience

Winning bidders receive an automated invoice with payment options pre-configured. They click, pay, and receive a receipt — no back-and-forth, no chasing payments.

Seller Payouts

Depending on your plan, payouts are processed automatically on your schedule — weekly, bi-weekly, or per auction. All fees, premiums, and commissions are calculated and withheld automatically.
